Default Des ABS and traction control work in reverse?

What I meant to say in the title is "DOES" ABS and traction control work in reverse? An internet search reveals it's supposed to, but it didn't seem to during the incident I'm writing about.

Since lifting the Disco 2, I’ve been trying more challenging off-road obstacles. Overall, the Disco is doing well, considering I have few modifications. I had an instance a couple of weeks ago where some of my wheels were losing grip and continually spinning without traction, and the traction control did not brake the wheel to transfer power to the other wheels. I have no warning lights illuminated on the gauge cluster, and the brake functions otherwise seem to be working as intended. I do see the traction control light illuminate when the system is actually engaging properly, but for some reason it did not activate this time. As I was reversing, the wheel spin seemed to be excessive.

BTW, it's not too clear from the video but the hill I was approaching was fairly steep and it was also offset to the right, creating a steep incine combined with a direction change. As a matter of fact, there were some abandoned axles on the the side of the trail, where someone else apparently tried and broke their axles.

Also, do the ABS and traction control work while in reverse?

I apologize for the YouTube link but the video file was too large to attach.

HDC works in reverse, right? . TBH no idea on D2 if TC does but it would seem if HDC does, that TC would...

Some of the narration in that video “Bitch you stuck” is the funniest thing ever.

Were you in low range?

In my tiny experience, I believe it does yes. If you have non-stock tire sizes, ABS and TC do not function as effectively without regearing

That's my wonderful wife. She thinks she's hilarious.

I was in low.
