Desparate help needed
Hi
I own a 3.9 V8 Discovery which runs on LPG as well as petrol. I don't know much about vehicles and it has been to several garages where no one has been able to solve the problem so far.
Unfortunately funds are running low as lots has been spent on doing the above (and changing the radiator)
Any suggestions are greatful

- It runs fine on LPG but not on petrol.
- At present it is missing on 4 cylinders but can not pin point the problem (diagnosed on the lap top but no fault found)
- Coil packs have been changed
- We have even tried running petrol magic through it.
Unfortunately funds are running low as lots has been spent on doing the above (and changing the radiator)

Yeah, the problem is the injectors. A carburated engine is very simple to convert to LPG, but a fuel injected one is tricky in the sense that you need to modify the signal from the ECM so that the injectors are not running dry while burning LPG. You may replace the faulty fuel injectors and it will run good for a while, but unless the issue of the injectors running dry gets addressed you will have the same problem shortly. It is not a big issue, it is done all the time by the shops that install the LPG system, they have to know.
