Exclamation Diagnosing 3 amigos + Transmission code

Decided to make a separate thread since I no longer need any assistance with the wheel hubs or axle shaft seals. Anyways Ive been looking for a place locally who can scan my abs fault codes and so far no luck. Went to one Autozone store and they directed me to another autozone store who supposedly had the capabilities of reading the abs codes. Spent 30 minutes with the sales rep trying to find abs codes via their handheld scan tool but there was nothing in the tool nor in the manual about finding abs codes. During the process we did find P1590 which I have had before and the description of the fault is as follows: "Mod 12, Transmission control module torque reduction request communication". Any idea what this means? Im thinking maybe something electrical came loose, maybe a sensor related to the transmission?

On another note is there anyone in New England who might be open to lending me their abs scan tool? I really need to get my abs codes read AND reset. I can certainly paypal you some small cash. I would only need the scan tool for maybe 30 minutes tops and I could have it shipped to you next day. Be more than happy to discuss the matter more on phone if you'd like.

P1590 for a Land Rover is an ABS code. Here's a thread on it: https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...e-p1590-17819/ It's related to your 3 Amigos. I'd scan your codes and reset them with my CDP+, but I'm a $50+ round trip from you. My scanner only works with my laptop so I can't loan it out. There was a guy form NH with an ABS Amigo tool that he would rent out. Do a search for his thread and see if he's close by.

Edit: Found the thread: https://landroverforums.com/forum/private-sale-trade-classifieds-20/abs-amigo-rent-$20-two-weeks-55390/

Thanks so much man, I appreciate all your support and useful info lately. I really do need to invest in a good diagnostic tool for my Disco, but cannot do that for awhile as I have to many other things i have to get first.
