Default Diagnostic tool

What is the popular diagnostic tool for reading codes? Tired of hitting autozone and having them give me a read out from computer. Sorry, I have never payed too much attention to those posts. And hard to find in search. Can anyone help an old man out??

Correct that doesn't do ABS, I believe you have to jump from $80 to around $250 to get ABS codes...

The iCarsoft LR2 will read and reset ABS codes. It doesn't do all the fancy things that a Nanocom or one of the other high-end units will do, but it's only about $150.

Use the iCarsoft LRII for my needs. Does engine, abs codes and gives you live data for diagnosis of sensors. Think l ended up finding one new for a buck seventy-five...but don't remember where. You see them come up on here every once in awhile.

I have one of these, reads and clears everything.

Autel 619. $105, reads engine codes, ABS and SRS. Does live data graphing as well.

Default Autel AL619

This is also what I recently bought. Cleared 3 Amigos after wheel hub replacement. Also located a SRS driver seat fault. Works great and used right out of box, no update needed.

For about $130 you can get a Foxwell NT510 or NT520 but not a NT530.

I like my Nanocom Evo. A bit pricey, but it works really well on both my D2 and P38.
