Get an ELM327 for $10 off Amazon, reads all codes except ABS and clears them, graph sensors using torque app on Android. Then if you really want abs stuff get one of the other ones.

I have the opportunity to acquire the icarsoft LR II at a deeply discounted price. Anyone have experience with this particular model? Specifically looking to understand if this can clear/diagnose intermittent TPM system malfunction issues. I'd actually be happy if it would enable me to turn the tpm system off completely. I know the GAAP tool can do this but wondering if the LRII or any others have this functionality.

I have an iCarsoft LR 2, but I don't know what a TPM system malfunction is.

4 years ago I had the icarsoft CR-Plus to use on my Disco 2, wife’s BMW X5 (diesel) and monster-in-laws Audi A6 and her Cadillac CTS. It worked well on the Caddy and Audi but was crap for the Disco and X5.
I sold it after 6 months and bought a Foxwell NT-510.

My experience is the opposite to Juke's. The iCarsoft works perfectly with the Disco, and is okay for OBD2 for anything else I have connected it to. Yes, it's limited and a bit clunky, but it always connects and will always read codes. It's not a programmer, but it can reset warnings.
I also have a Foxwell NT650 Elite which doesn't like to connect to any vehicle, and really doesn't do anything that the iCarsoft does.

I don't know that I would buy either of them again (definitely not the Foxwell).

I just bought an Autel 619. Works great. Super easy to use, reads abs codes, and only $99.

I’ll make a separate post with my experience on it later. Definitley recommend.

I have the iCarsoft LRII; it is fine for diagnosing DTC's and clearing most fault codes, including tire pressure codes but it will not deep dive into the ECU's for reprogramming or flashing. I am also looking into the Nanocom EVO or the GapId II. OF course the cost is much more, but given our cars' propensity to throw codes, it might just be worth it.
