Default Diamond Plate Rear Side Window

Got some trail damage today.

I saw a picture of a Disco, (can't remember if it was a 1 or 2) online that had diamond plate instead of this rear side window. Is there someone that pre-cuts to the shape of the window or a kit somewhere, or would I need to just cut it myself?

Would that be the best, least expensive way to go about it?

Those trees will jump out and bite you.

I would guess that you will need to do it yourself

Trees, indeed. My 'spotter' told me that I could make it, no problem. The roots from the tree on the left kicked me up just a half an inch higher than he expected and broke out the window.

Once I was passed that, the taillight guard caught onto the tree and yanked it out. The light will go back in, no problem. I'm thinking I'll just be putting diamond plate in place of both rear windows.

The think I'm the most worried about is the power steering fluid leak that came from nowhere. I had to run it without for about 20 minutes on the trail and now has a permanent whine. I'll be looking into that next.

Man that sux... id have to bitch slap that spotter though!!!!

Easy fix though... just template it with card board no problem.

Power steering is either tank ... which fails often or lines... obviously. If its anything like my Bimmer theirs seals where the lines go into the pump and unit... try there. Those seals usually go first.
BMW when they got involved with LR transferred all their problem areas in engineering. Seems all the same issues with cooling and leaks.... they run great when not on jack stands

You'll be needing a new radio antenna, Rover ones are in the glass.
