After clearing the coades the light showed back up after two days. It is showing a code 72

 

What were the original codes and what repairs did you do? Also, did you do a full 2 quart DOT 4 brake flush afterwards?

 

I did flush the system. I did the repair where you splice into the wiring harness and rewire the shuttle valve.

I,m not sure what the code was before but it was listed as shuttle valve failure.

 

And you did not replace the shuttle valve or seals did you?
You need to buy the kit or at least the seals from Falcon Works along with a new shuttle valve, then follow Josh's directions on a complete rebuild.

 

So do I have to do the full rebuild or will seals do the trick. When I pulled it apart there was no fluidnon the shuttle valve

 

Not sure why this is so hard to understand, have you read Josh's write up, you have to do it all if you want to fix it.

 

When I performed my shuttle valve repair, there was no brake fluid on my switches either, but the switches tested bad with a multimeter. I replaced the switch, the seals, and did the wiring modification for good measure.

Did you test the switch, or just splice the wiring?

I did test the switches and they were in spec, but if that what I got to do then I replace the switches.


Man I got to be honest, you obviousy were a service rep at Land Rover Cause a lot of those guys are arrogant A holes too.

 

Hey now, it's just how Mike is try not to take it personally. The advice you'll see he gives on the forums may serve you well down the road.

 

Don't get me wrong I know he has great advice, in fact I was hopinh he'd answer when I posted, but seriously, there is thing called tact.

I get enough crap in my day I don't need any more.
