Default Did you know d2 headrests move?

I've owned discovery 2s for over a decade. I had no idea until spotted a headrest for sale online and then ran back home to check for myself.

I had no idea. They always feel way too far back rather than too high or low, so I wish they moved forward honestly.

Downside of being an ape is I am very aware of stuff like this, so I’ve known since day 1.

I will mentioned a related experience, though: when I was heavily into auto crossing many years ago, I transitioned from FWD in a 16v GTI to “rear steer” in E30 BMWs. Until I got my S4 a few years ago, the Recaros in the E30s (the “is” version) were the best seats I’d ever been in. However, shortly after I got my first, I was disappointed at what seemed to be lack of head room (I’m 6’7”) and was struggling on how I’d be able to drive comfortably at a track pace with my helmet on. One day when I came home and opened the garage door to put it away, I reached my hand down to my left for some reason and hit one of the levers for the seat and it dropped what felt like 6 inches! Eureka! Perfect fit! I’ve always thought that funny as my experience with zee Jermahn cahz is that they do very well at accommodating knuckledraggers such as myself, and that experience proved it once again.
