what about 75w140? i found some of that in royal purple, the guy said it will be good if im gonna change it out again before winter... 75w140 RP what do you think? should I put it in?

 

dont know if anybodys payin any attention on this still, but here goes.... so I got the brass fill plugs, and 7 quarts of RP 75-140... will that be alright? it was what they had at napa and i didnt have to buy a whole case of it.

 

Yeah, a lot of people run 75w140. I might try that out. Currently have 75w90.

 

Yes you will be fine, even in the winter time, if you lived in Siberia then yes, it would be a problem, but you dont...do you? Fargo maybe?
If it gets below -10F on a regular basis then maybe change it before winter, if it gets just below 0F once or twice a year then dont worry about it.
If you live in tropical Florida then you will be better off with the 85w-140 (or 75w-140), less gear noise.
