Differences Between Trim Levels
yea believe me i know. the only problem ive had to deal with so far are the amigos. i would hate my life if i had to deal with all the other optional crap breaking as well.
my 01 SD didnt come with them. completely base model no options. (except for leather). whats awesome is that even with having the base model, to me its still a luxury vehicle. having the steering wheel controls, leather, cruise control, not bad sound system except for it only playing tapes, 4wd, power everything etc. love my disco!
The SD7s have the air suspension too. I have an SD7, no moonroofs, crappy audio (other than the stereo itself, which is Alpine, and the underseat CD changer) rubber/tweed interior and Duragrain leather. It also doesn't have the foglamps or body colored bumper. For what its worth, I like the lower line. The duragrain pleather looks and feels just like nice leather, and its pretty tough.
I think SLS was standard on all seven seaters, tho I'm just reiterating what I read a few weeks back in another post. If you don't have the rear seats, then SLS was an option, and may not have been available on the SD-non7. On my truck, I have zero options except the underseat CD changer (which still works and I love it), the third row and the SLS, which I had removed (SLS, not the seats). I didnt even have a trailer receiver, but I was lucky enough to find one at the picknpull for less than $100.

My '03 S model is bare bones and I love it that way. It does not have front arm rests, heated windshield, SLS, sunroofs, leather, suede door panel tops, front fogs, 7 disc changer, seat heaters and probably some other stuff I can't remember or haven't noticed yet.
