Default Disco 2 engine rebuild

What's up guys, I know it's been awhile,
been on deployment. Having my 03 disco v8 engine fully rebuilt by je Robison as well as some other minor repairs. Not sure if any of you guys have experience with him but I remember someone on here recommend them as being one of the best in the eastern area. I wish I could say I was doing it myself but I don't nearly have the experience or the tools to do so.haha but I will keep you guys informed as well as pictures of the end results. Yes it is not cheap but I do plan i keeping this vehicle for as long as I can.

That's purdy. Hopefully, she runs as good as she looks. Thank you, for your service!...and welcome home.

Sharp! Are those new cylinder sleeves or just the originals cleaned up?

JE Robinson does great work. The only thing you will be disappointed by is the price They will only recommend top hats on a rebuild.

That is a beautiful thing! I am embarking on the same road, just bought a 2000 Disco 2 with rotten frame. It has a top hat block from D&D fabrications with about 80k on it, going to break it down for a full service and inspection.

I wonder how the cost compares to a Turner long block?

Liner flange on original is about half that width.
