Default disco 2 head light conversion for 1997 disco

Hi there, i was wondering if any one know were i can get this set of head light conversions for my 19997 disco? and do i have to modify the body at all?

Are you talking about the HID conversions, sure you can buy them, pretty much plug and play.
Send me your tele number and I'll walk you thru what is needed.

I think he means converting from D1 headlights to 03-04 style headlights. I've seen it done on earlier D2s and since D2 headlights will fit a D1 in my mind the 03-04 headlights should be able to fit also.

Yeh, you are right and no, I don't think it can be converted to the new head light assemby with out cutting it up pretty bad.

D1's have a shorter Indicator lamp, so to fit 03-04 D2 lights you will have to cut the wings as well as the headlight reinforcing panel behind the lamps.

Another cheaper option is to fit pre-facelift D2 lamps into a D1, they go straight in with no mods and look much better and give a better light performance to.

heres a Friends D1 with D2 lamps in it...
