Default disco 2 outriggers

hi my outriggers on my disco 2 are very rusty and i can not seem to buy replacements , land rover list disco 1 outriggers does any one know if they are the same or can adapt thanks .

these guys claim to sell new chassis.... perhaps they can sell you just a piece of one, before it gets welded on... worth a call anyway.

Richards Chassis

Or call a salvage yard. D2 don't rust as much as D1 did... or at least they haven't yet. I'm sure they'd cut a couple out for you... else they'd probably just go to the crusher to be recycled.

Go to a salvage yard or call Paul Grant, number in my classified section, he should have one.

DIIs rust much more than DIs. Many believe this is due to their hydro-formed chassis.

I'm not sure, I don't know much about it. It is possible they used a cheaper steel when they made the chassis. But I've seen tons of DIs and tons of DIIs, for their age DIIs have much more rust.
