Default Disco 2 A-Pillar cowl mod - group effort

Rosslato asked me in a PM if I had any info on R0VERGUY's post about his a-pillar cowl mod with the screws and nut plate. Sadly, I didn't save the whole post or the informative YouTube video due to R0VERGUY deleting everything before he departed the forum.
I was able to find some pictures of the mod to hopefully help others.

When I finally complete this mod on "Myrtle" I'll post more pictures and info on how I did it.
Please contribute if you have completed this mod already. Cheers!

You can remove your A pillar without breaking the tabs that secure it. This way you don't have to buy new ones if you change your windshield or leverage the A pillar void for running wires.

Here are some pics I found to help out...

Home Depot brand Everbilt #6 screw covers part #479-235 & Honda fender retainers part #459880 03/each per side...

You remove the three stock clips...

and replace with Home Depot brand Everbilt #8 speed nuts (Brits call them "U" clips) and a long screws
