Default Disco 2 tail light options?

Hey guys, new to the disco world but having a great time so far! Bought my 04 a few months ago and have been using it as my daily. Took it up crown king trail here in Arizona already, handled it like a champ! Unfortunately it has cracked tail lights. Before I purchase new ones, is there any sort of LED kit or retrofit like I’ve seen for some of the disco 1s? Or is the only option the stock lenses? Thanks!

Please stick with stock housings lol. The 99-02’ look better than the 03-04’s

I’d just keep the stock ones, I tinted mine I think it changes it up enough

03-04 = I highly recommend drilling drain holes down the bottom on the black plastic. They aren’t made as well as 99-02 units.

That’s why I ended up to tinting mine because water got in the cracks and dropped out of the hole I drilled right into my trailer harness causing it to burst into flames

I’ve never seen that be a problem with the OEM trailer wiring unit. It’s very sealed, but I have seen a few aftermarket units on LR’s in the past (like a UHAUL or generic unit) which I didn’t trust so I removed it. Water will still seep behind the tail lamp assembly and run down regardless if you drill a small hole on the 03-04 assembly or not because they don’t seal up to the body.

Glad you caught that sucker before it went downhill quickly!

Are the earlier lights a direct bolt in? And the fire looks scary! Good catch!

Everyone saying about 99 vs 04 lights.. Don't forget you have to move your turn/reverse wiring, they're flip flopped right?

Default Red

Red/white combo
Bumper lamp: reverse and fog
main housing: upper is the brake lamp(2bulbs)
Center is the switched running lamps and lower section is the signal bulb.
I would like to see the red/orange combo though
