Just checking - are you sure your truck is not immobilized? I had something like that happen when my battery went out. It would have nothing to do with misfires though.

just to confirm, you have verified fuel (starter fluid) and verified spark - correct?

Still need to check for spark. Starter fluid didn’t started the truck. Just put a little in the throttle body. Don’t know if I did it correctly. I haven’t check the fuel pressure but I press the fuel valve on the fuel rail and it sprayed some gas. Man this truck is getting my nerves lol.... how do I know if the truck is immobilized? I recently started to use a keyfob that someone programmed for me because I lost the key that open the door. The key of the ignition is different, I guess the previous owner change the key ignition.

I also check the battery(good and fully charged) and grounds close to the battery and fuse compartment. All is good and tight.

Ok - don't want to send you off on a tangent - immobilization is a security feature of these things and one of the things it does is kills the fuel to the engine. But lets not go done this path until you have verified spark and fuel pressure.

These trucks are pretty cool but you have to find troubleshooting interesting otherwise they will cost you lots $$$ having someone else do the work for you. Good luck.

Spark should be easy - pull each wire one at a time, insert a spark plug and stick a screwdriver against it. Have someone turn it over and look for the spark. Or you can get one of these tools.

I really appreciated the time you are taking to helping me brother. As soon I do the spark test I’ll update back.

So I check for spark and I have spark in every single one. I don’t know if I have to see a lot of spark but I see some. That means I’m getting power but no gas?

Ok. Next step is check the fuel pressure as The Deputy mentioned. I know you tried some starter fluid but we need to be sure. Check it out and report back.

Oreilly has one you can borrow, others may as well.

1. Push the button on the firewall first.
2. Lock/Unlock the truck three times.
3. If it still does not start, I suspect CPS.
