Default DISCO 2004 II Cruise Control TD5

The cruise control stopped working a few weeks agon the all of a sudfden sratred working again. It has now stopped working AGAIN, interestingly while driving if you turn of then on the side dash cruise control switch to switch off then on the cruise control, when you then activate the set function on the steering wheel you feel a slight momentary surge as if it is trying to work then nothing... if you again push the steering wheel set+ button nothing happens i.e no surge. Is the cruise control the same or similiar as D1 I have seen the posts on the vacuum issues there??? Help woudl be appreciated we are about to set off on a 3000k round trip and cruise control would be nice... THANKS

Start with the vacum lines, then check the cruise module, after that it would have to be the cruise ECU.
I am not sure how you check the module or the ECU.

And there are vacuum and electrical switches on the brake and clutch pedal (if equipped), and at least one relay, and possibly two involved.

Yes, I always forget about the brake switch.
