Disco did not want to crank
I went out to get in my 2000 Disco and it would turn over but not fire a lick. Tried for 15 minutes. Got a ride home and had it towed. Went out to work on it and it fired right up. Any ideas?? I wish it had not cranked so i could have found the problem. Now i am scared to drive it.

You need to be more specific in the future, your engine does"Crank Over", it does not start, there is a difference.
As AK has mentioned, it is most likely your crank sensor.
At your mileage there should have been a full service done, including new plug wires and 02 sensors if you plan on staying on top of any up coming issues.
As for your fear to drive it, you should be cause if it is the crank sensor, it will just get worse to the point of not starting at all.

Well it cranked up run about 3 minutes and died. this time though it set off the check engine light. Hooked up the code reader and there it was P0335. So with that said is this a part i can put in without needing the dealer to reset or program anything? Would like to keep the bank robbers out of the picture if possible. By the way THANKS for the help so far.
