I say buy it. Looks like a fantastic deal. That rack along with the other mods. Even silly things like the newer cup holders. My 99 disco 2 didn't come with those. I still have the lame cup holders that when there's a drink in them, block the hvac controls. Buy it, you'll love it!

Do 99 disco's come with jump seats stock?

Search E-bay. You can get a pair for around $50. I just put mine in my 97 and I can't believe I waited so long. Best $50 spent in the truck....

New to Land Rovers does this look like a deal?

Thanks in advance.
When I look at a truck like that, I see someone who wheels alot to spend all of that money on mods. Someone that cares enough to spend that kind of bank on mods would be more likely to keep the repairs and maintenance up to speed.

I say jump on it if it is what you want.

Default mods

I think I will pass on this one,After living in upstate NY I vowed I would never buy another northern vehicle, sure the body is aluminum but I bet it is rusty underneath,It doesn't look like the mods were done for any kind of hardcore wheeling so that doesn't really concern me.
Not knowing history and buying from a dealer and buying site unseen concerns me a bit.
I did a check on it,originally a lease vehicle then it had three additional owners the last owning it since 85000 miles in 2005.
no maintenance history provided,
I'm sure whoever gets it will be happy but I will keep looking.
Cheers!

Generally the mods they have are typical Land rover mods that serious off roaders get. To tell you the truth there isnt much more you could do, without drastically changing the look of car. Those mods are nice and I bet the owner has had a good time with that truck. Good luck find another! Let us know how it goes!

Although I am more familiar with Toyota I'm sure it's the same here, mods are fun to do,they're fun to look at thery'e fun to talk about and they are certainly fun to test but the reality for mostod usis that they don't get used that often and when they do they are careful.
Hardcore wheeling and going offroad and testing your vehicle to the full extent are two different things IMHO
hardcore and damage goe hand in hand.

Damnit... somebody bought it. Oh well. Somebody here?

Wow, I think they bought it while I was looking at it. [&:] I was just typing some questions here, did a refresh on the Ebay page, and it's gone. Wow.

Bought by a girl in PA that has/had a 99 D2. Check the ffedback and you can see she recently sold seat covers for her 99 D2.

Knew what she wanted.
