Oh so a few weird things going on with my Disco

my truck was heavily modified for the SEMA show in 2001

double battery and aux lights and several extras that could play a part but

when I get into my car and start it the hazards will immediately turn on and won’t go off until I unplug the battery and reconnect it

I also got a camshaft position sensor fault

I am wondering if it might be my alternator

I have gone through and cleaned off the ground points in the engine bay, but I’m wondering if there might be other recommendations someone would have

It’s just very odd but not surprising

 

When the Rover was modified did they rewire the lighting/hazard switches? Have you tried unplugging the harness plug from the hazard switch in the dash panel?
