I am looking into buying a Disco II 99 to 2003 in my price range it seems alot have the 90 to 120 mile mark on,I now about some of the major probloms, and the price of repair is kinda scary,my idea was to get an extended auto warranty though a 3rd party prices range from $1,000 to $3,200 for 2 years 140,000 miles depending on the company and coverage plan,I know this might sound like alot but when I thing about a Valve job costing 2 grand it seems like a good idea,any thoughts on this?

Like I said depends on the coverage but the adv price that would cover the Disco II's reacurring probloms would be covered in the $2,000 range.
