Default Disco II Soft Top

So yesterday I was driving to get dinner with some friends after our lacrosse game had ended. I was low on gas so I pulled in next to the coolest Disco II that I've seen, it was a soft top. Naturally I complimented him on how great it looked along with asking him where he bought it. He began to explain that his was a handyman and he created the idea himself, and paid his friend "a hell of a lot of money" to create it (I live in a wealthy area where people have expensive hobbies). After a short conversation, it completely slipped my mind to take any pictures. I looked online and googled it trying to find it on numerous forums but COULD NOT find it. I found a few pictures but they did not look good at all, very very subpar to his model.
Has anyone ever thought about doing this or done this or even heard of it, thought it would be amazing to have.

You should see the Bobtails. Do an image search on google for Land Rover Discovery Bobtail.

Pretty wild stuff.

Haha, those things are pretty weird looking. I bet those things are sick off road though, better turn radius, less tail weight. Everything good for off roading.

Ya, didn't see one. I'd say they're probably as much as the car now hahaha. But they're probably a lot of work as well as money.
