Cool man, how hard was the swap out?

 

It took me about 2.5 hours. Most of the time was spend on modifying the replacement pump for the sai.

Another thing I was trying to do was install the new pump with the rubber gasket on the pump first. The pump would not go down all the way into the tank, and I was unable to put the lock ring on. After a while, I figured out that our have to put the gasket onto the tank first, then insert the pump into it.

 

With starting problems, I would first check the IAV operation (item #5 on the dwg), it might be stuck closed.
