Question Disco II wreck repaired now have multiple codes.

My wife was recently hit in the Drivers side front while stopped at a stop sign. Our Disco has now been repaired with all new parts but is throwing multiple SES codes & for the first time ever even has the SES Flashing sometimes but not for long.

I have a feeling it is the Drivers Side Pre Cat O2 Sensor due to codes & the fact that the engine was covered in fluids from the other cars involved. Also not sure why but it seems the Throttle Body Heater has developed a leak also now which I have already purchased the repair kit.

I am of course having issues with the Insurance on these codes since they don't think they could be caused by the wreck even though it was running GREAT before the wreck.

So thought I would post to see if anyone has any ideas or advice as to how to proceed.

Already have 2 O2s ordered & on way

Codes that have showed up are:

P1412 Secondary Air Injection System – Malfunction Bank 1 LH (Insufficient SAI flow
during passive test)

P1129 O2 sensors swapped bank to bank (sensor 1) Front sensors transposed

I'd swap the sensor connectors and see what happens... and check for anything else that doesn't seem to be plugged in right.

Think think the flashing SES light means a severe misfire, and you probably shouldn't drive it like that. What all was damaged and replaced?

Could this be caused by the O2 Sensor or the MAF - Throttle Body Intake Hose having a small air leak on the Hose Barb going to the SAI?

Not sure I understand how this could happen due to it not being disconnected & I don't think the connectors are long enough to be transposed.

I know when O2s went bad from just washing engine I had multiple misfires also which is why I though everything is leading back to the Bank 1 Sensor 1 Sensor.

Outside:

Bumper,
Brush Guard,
Fog Lamp,
Headlamp,
Headlamp Finisher,
Drvrs Fender,
Splash Guard,
Flare,
Windshield Plastic panel at bottom.
Intake Hose (Replaced by me due to Adjuster saying it had glue on it which I later found out it is glued from factory)

Inside:

Dash Cluster was knocked loose breaking the clips
Rear Cup Holder was broken out by our dog somehow
Drivers Headrest Seat Lcd was knocked out breaking the plastic bucket.

Thanks for the advice

weird. so if they didn't have the o2 sensors disconnected, ignore what I said about swapping them.

Final Out Come is what I thought it could be.

Bank 1 Sensor 1 O2

Now of course the Land Rover Dealer didn't like my after market wires & plugs & first tried to blame them. The insurance adjuster almost had a coronary when they told her $810.00 for wires & plugs which wasn't actually needed.

Lesson to be learned here never trust the dealer they are out to get us for all they can.

Running like a champ now although I still don't understand why a vehicle that supposedly can go into water can't have moisture get on the O2s.

Thanks for the replies.

FWIW, I've had my D2 wading (briefly) in close to 3 feet of water without any problems. I'm 100% certain the O2 sensors have been exposed to water, and haven't had any problems.

Just a guess, but maybe there was a break in the wiring cover or loose connector from when they did the repairs and at some point water got into the sensor?
