Default Disco Jack

How tall is the original Disco 1 bottle jack in it's lowest position? Also, does anybody have a picture of the jack mounted in a Disco 1 like it's supposed to be? Mine didn't come with a bottle jack. I bought a Harbor Freight 2T jack today. Thank you.

Anybody have an approximate height? The one I bought is about 7 1/2" tall (minimum height). I plan toweld a saddle on the top like the factory jack. I just want to find a jack as close to the original height as possible. Thanks,

I will go look and measure it today for you. They are a huge pain to get in and out of their holder.

You are at the right height. I measured just under 8". The jack is in front of the airbox.

Spike,

Thank you SO MUCH for taking/posting those pictures. They were extremely helpful!

Anybody have a jack hold-down strap and the protective bracket that goes over the jack, they want to sell?

Did not know that was a wheel chock.
My pics are too large to upload to the forum so I have to use Photobucket and I am not very good at it, so I did my best.
I know it is a pain in the rump, but what do you do?

In your photobucket account...copy the "Direct Link" under your photo..then click on the photo button in the post box (if you look up and to the left..its a yellow box with a mountain on it). That should add your photo so it can be seen.
