Default Disco Mike...... Fushion or Plus 4

Hey I was looking to change my plugs and wires next week and I know that you were using plus 4s for a while and then switched to fushions. How has your experience been. Would you recommend either one over the other. Thanks alot, you have been a great help!!

I went to the plus 4's about a month ago or so, noticed no improvement in fuel economy or smoothness over my other plugs (think they were platinum something or others). Not that the plus 4's are bad, just saw now benifit for 60 bucks.

Think you cant go wrong with either.
Good luck!

Regards

Jst4fun,
When you changed your plugs, did you also do your wires, if not that may be why you didn't notice a difference, old Rover wires don't put out enough voltage for either of the more expensive Bosch plugs.

I seemed to get more low end pulling power with the Plus 4's that I ran for about 65,000 miles, changed to the Fusions after doing head gaskets and pulled my MPG up to nearly 18.6, at 65 MPH driving at around 6500 feet.
Either way, there is also a mail in rebate from Bosch, which ever way you go.

Hi Mike,

The wires on my truck are aftermarket. Put them on new when the motor was installed. They wires are ok, at the time wasnt aware of using the Magna core product. Gonna run these wires till they begin to fail or I become bored.

I need to give you a call sometime...

Regards,

Nick
