Disco Oil
Took this out of my rover's transfer case, and finally am able to get pictures up (said i would in the "reliability" thread)
I couldn't believe my eyes, and the stuff felt like water... it was amazing my transfer case didn't get torn up (no metal chunks or anything came out, a few filings)

this is a perfect example on why when you get your disco, you do EVERY maintenance task you can think of

People think I'm nuts because not only do I save receipts fr the service I have done, if I can't do it myself, but also for every part I buy. I have a stack of AB invoices in my glove box along with mechanic receipts.

That's what my rear diff looked like. It might be a good idea to run some cheap oil in it for a trip or two and change it back out while the fluid is still warm.

When it is warm, I will be putting in the redline shockproof in the transfer case and gear oil in the diffs
