I did just buy a 99 disco for parts but not sure if I want to put in that old rad
my question is are the rads from rock auto any good and durable ?? My local suppliers want $760 plus tax here in Canada

Yep all the cheapie radiators I’ve used and installed have worked out great. Small tip on the re-install. Take the screws that secure the lower shroud to the radiator (where you usually get leaks) and cut off like 1/4 of an inch off of them! They will still hold the lower shroud, but they shouldn’t go to far & put a crack into the plastic radiator tank.
