Pure negligence. Diving a car with improper equipment. Not only did it have a missing lug but the driver decided to put it on the road in that condition and in the rain to boot. Makes my neck hurt just thinking about it.

And I'm sure your truck is totaled.... with all those new problems.... slipped sleeves, leaking coolant, overheating, sunroofs leaking and that's just what you know about now, I'm sure the headliner will fall and 3 amigos are right around the corner, the SAI fan bearings will start whining soon, power steering pump will start leaking and the trucks electrics will never be the same. I'm surprised it didn't blow a head gasket on impact.

I see a front and rear steel bumper, winch, lift kit, roof rack, top hat block, and new tires with money left over for more tools.

Just the downtime alone will probably cause alot of pain and suffering.

I have heard of what, at first, would appear to be just a minor fender bender, totally wrecking peoples lives. At first it's a damaged vehicle, can't make it to work, can't make the mortgage, wife starts complaining, can't haul the kids around, kids start hating you, dog starts hanging out at the neighbors and then it's psychiatric care, anti-depressants, marriage counseling, divorce and more.
It's a downward spiral.... the beginning of the end my friend. It's been nice knowing you.

You better go right out and buy a defender now while you still have your family!

^agreed, somebody opened their door on my truck once and the headliner started to sag. Happens every time. Luckily the headliners are still available new!

well in that case, it would appear that the city did not have sufficient warnings posted.
"slippery when wet" "get off your phone" "objects in intersection are closer than they appear" etc
