Default discovery 2 both heated seats out

2002 Discovery 2. Bought it a year ago and the heated seats did NOT work. Previous owner said the driver seat burned from element.
so I recently bought a salvage D2 with an emasculate interior. I switched the seats out and still no heat.
now I can totally understand that the element can go and stop the heated seat from working but two seats not working and also the two replacement seats not working seems like too much of a fluke. Im wondering where else I should look?
The lights come on when you press the buttons and I've checked all the seat related fuses I can find.
Is there a spot somewhere that the wire can wear out heading to the seats. does the fact that it's both seats lead to something?

Thanks for any help.

Yeah... I wouldn't sit on any emasculating seats myself!

But to your problem, I don't think it's too far fetched for the new seats to also have element problems. It seems to be a pretty common issue. Neither of my seats has worked since I bought my truck.

Thanks for the info. Yes, at the end of the day this is not a bad problem to have as a Disco owner. I guess it might be time to pull the covers off the seat and have a look around.

It makes ya eyes water

Seriously, take a look at the fuses below the seats and also in the fuse box or the relays on each seat, ID: AWR 5160.
