Default Discovery 2 Spring update - tech help needed

I own a 2001 2001 Discovery 2 TD5.

My current setup is with fron springs from RTE (Rovertym) RR4-1 they are the same carestiristics as the OME 2779:

Pic attached

I have a stock landrover Winch and tray like Ho's Disco 2 in the front.

Current vehicle behaviour, I think it ***** a little since I installed the RTE 3 years ago.
Vehicle is "soft" ib the front, and many times springs are fully compressed on many occasions.

Was thinking installing the OME 2766 Springs in the front, does these springs can phisically fit in a DII front axle upper mount and bottom plate (pic attached)?

The D2 takes a pig tailed end on the spring, so the bottom is stepped to take the coil. It's also got that flat area where the end of the spring is bent in and then cut off. The D1 has a regular flat bottom ground spring. Also the hole in the middle of the D2 is squared off so that an eye end shock can be used, where the D1 shock has a pinned end, so a round hole. Inner diameter is the same.

Is the DII difference in spring perch comparing to the DI really matters while fitting OME 2799 springs?

The springs will fit the truck with out any issue. I don't think they will be the correct ones you need. You may want the 2751

You can put the d2 spring seat in a vice and flatten it

As for now, I run on a RTE RR4-1 380 mm spring rated 225 lbs, it's identical as for the 2779, it's to soft for my ride and lift is ~ 1.5" only.
i have the LR stock winch mount and a winch.

looking into the springs setup the 2751 is 390 mm with rate of 225 while the 2766 is more suitable, rated 250 lbs and taller, it's 3" above stock but with load it ***** a little.
