I had a similar issue when off-roading last summer. Turned out to be a hairline crack in one of the polymer bushings in the radius arm. The initial visual inspections of the underneath of the truck did not reveal anything as the crack was not very visible. Pieces of the bushing started delaminating and disintegrating further with continued offroading (4 days in the bush). Getting someone to rock the truck back and forth while someone else is underneath to check it out is advisable. I ended up using JB Steekstik to fill into the missing cavity until I was able to get back to civilization.

it took me a few weeks to find what my problem was and that included a trip to my local garage who could not find anything wrong, they said it may be the shocker/damper, so I took it home jacked it up took off the shock/damper, tested it all good but I could not get it back on so I have to lower the axle more and that when I saw the ball joint on the drop link come out of the cup, but due to them being old when I went over a bump or round a corner it popped out the banged back in, so unbolt one end of your droplinks and test the ball joints are good, they are not expencive cheap and easy to replace
