Discovery 2 V8 no spark or fuel
#11
Thank you for the information. I believe the issue is with the first line of the picture, "With the ignition in position II and the ECM is satisfied that all the conditions are correct."
Does anyone know what these conditions are? To provide a bit of back ground info on the D2, it was a V8 with an auto box, ABS and air suspension all still in place. Obviously on the defender chassis the airbags are not present nor are the abs or wheel sensors.

Discovery 2 V8 no spark & no fuel
SOLVED!
Hi Guys so here's our story of the Discovery 2 no fuel and no spark story
We were driving as normally we stoped at the butcher and as we wanted to drive of the car did not want to start so as usually my husband went to the engine compartment fusebox pushed a couple of wires (what we thougt the problem was) and the car started up straight away we got home and later that day i wanted to go to the grocery store but no matter what wire we pushed the car did not wanted to start up. We ended up replacing the CPS the coilpacks even the engine compartment fusebox stil the car did not start. After struggling for nearly 2 months we solved the problem 🤣 the previous owner had the car chipped so we bypassed the chip and on the first swing she started
So my answer is if you have the same problem firstly check your chip has gone bad if you have a chip in.
Hope our experience is the answer to someone prayer

By "chipped" do you mean a computer chip added to somehow re-map the ECM? I'm not familiar with doing that on the DII.
Where on the truck was the chip installed and how did you bypass it. And more importantly perhaps, how did you figure out the truck had been chipped?
