Default 1997 Discovery that wont start!! Please Help!!

I have a 97 disco that the engine turns, but wont start! It was working like a champ, then one day it just wont start. I had to have it towed from my job to my garage. Iam open to any suggestions, has this happened to any one? Thanks!

Could be any number of things, bad fuel pump, clogged fuel filter, bad crank sensor, badcam sensor, the alarm immobilizer, really bad worn out spark plugs.
Turn on the key and press on the scrader valve (it looks like a tire valve)on the fuel rail, do you get a spray of fuel?
If so then remove a spark plug and have a friend crank the engine over, do you have spark?
If you have fuel and spark then it is your cam sensor.
If you dont have fuel the replace the fuel filter, then check for fuel PSI again, no fuel replace the fuel pump.
No spark then replace the crank sensor.

I have a 97 D1 LSE that had an original fuel pump. The projected life "I was told" is 100,000 miles. PULL UP THE CARPET IN THE BACK AND CHECK OUT YOUR FUEL PUMP.............. If you can hear it get a vaccxum and clean it out If you cant ...391 dollarsat AB will take care of it
