Default Discovery II Coolant/Antifreeze

I know this has been covered many times but I just want to be sure. I have a 2004 Disco 2 SE with 100k. Since new, its had the orange antifreeze. Right now it has it as well, but I don't know if it is the OAT or just ethylene-glycol. I was wondering if it is OK to mix this with Peak Universal Long Life coolant. It looks like yellow Gatorade.
Thanks.

If you have orange dexcool in it now, I wouldn't mix it with Peak. I would just keep the dexcool and add more of it if it is low. I still have orange dexcool in mine to, works fine.

Depending on how old it is, most recommend to flush and refill periodically, and go with 50/50 with distilled water, or get the premixed. Dexcool is fine if you don't let it get old, it can wreak havoc on your cooling system.

I change it every 10k (I don't drive my D2 that much).
I was just wondering if it is OK to just top up with Peak. Apparently it's OK to do so on my Toyota Sequoia (what my dealer said) and that coolant is pink.

I wouldn't mix the orange or the pink. 2 cents...

Personally, I wouldn't run dexcool, period.

My '03 DII SE has gone 3yrs, 10K miles on it's orange dexcool. What's the recommended (best) replacement coolant for it?

Just get any aluminum block friendly green coolant.
