Default Discovery II lift, how much?

I am wanting to put a 2 or 3 inch lift on my 2000. I plan to install a front bumper and winch. I am currently stock. I have been looking at the OME and Rovertym lift. My question is beside the lift what other changes are needed or recommended (drive shafts, brake lines etc.) My plan is to do the work myself.

Just a heads up the OME Heavy Duty 2" lift has extremely stiff coil rates. Someone jump in and correct me if I'm wrong but if you go over the 2" lift you have to start replacing driveshafts and lengthening all the other usual suspects like brake lines and on and on.
If you're planning on hanging everything you listed over the new front bumper I would probably go with the OME HD suspension kit. I would spring for some 32" tires or 265/75/16s to fill the wheel wells out correctly after you lift the truck 2 inches the stock rubber looks silly if you leave it on a lifted truck. After that I would move onto the bumpers and winches and on and on.

somebody correct me but I think you can do 3" with just brake lines and no drive line issues.

You're fine with the factory driveshafts up to 3". Beyond 3" you need to change the rotoflex out for a standard u-joint which I recommend doing anyway. D2s require extensions for the ABS sensor lines and longer brake lines are always a good idea to maximize potential wheel travel.

The OME HD 751 front and 762 rear is a good combination for the D2 and usually nets about 2-1/2" of lift. If you change the rear spring perch out for a D1 perch it will give about an extra 1/2" of lift in the rear. I ran these springs on my D1 without a winch and was very happy with the ride quality and suspension flex.

You can go to 3"s without the need for ABS extensions, should replace the brake lines and I am still running my Roto-flex with no issues on my lift, OME.
How serious a 4wheeler are you? Makes a difference when ordering either the OME or the RTE since they both offer 4 different coils.
I am running 751 OME's in the front and 762's in the rear with OME older H.D. shocks. I would suggest you read up on the new OME Sport shocks as a consideration.

Thanks for all the info guys. I had planed on putting brake line extensions on when I change the brake fluid in the next week or so. I plan on doing as much wheeling as my buggy can take. I have taken it to Beasley **** in the north GA mountains and it did really well. Kept up with the lifted discoverys on the trails that the front bumper could handle. During this trip I did have the three amigos come on, and they have not left since. I have been reading the other post and checking one system at a time. I have not had the codes read yet so I am just going with the guess and check method until I can get it to the shop to have the codes read.

You guys need to just cut down all the trees so they have nothing to hug and they'll leave you alone. Plus you'll have lots of open space to wheel.
