Have installed D1 arms and have tried numerous wiper blades with not such great results when winter time comes in Chicago. Have learned to live with the poor wiper performance. If anyone has a magical combination that works in single digit temps please let me know.

heated windscreen does wonders. I am now using bosh icons on d1 arms. I like them but I only see near 0 temps for a handful of days, each winter.

I live in the south as well, so the D1 conversion from Atlantic British works great. It was easy to install and only cost $60.00 for everything. They don't look as fancy, but who cares.

Also have D1 arms Bosch Icons. In Philly works fine for me w/ heated windscreen.

The Disco 2 wiper blades do work. Ive opted to stick with D2 wiper arms. In the warmer months I use standard blades and in winter I use the winter set, both for the D2 and both sold from Atlantic British. Just make sure your arms are in good condition and the springs still tight and be sure to use some locktit on the nuts that secure the wiper arms otherwise they may come lose.......

I thought I was winning by taking advantage of the AB wiper blade set sale; outfitted my DII with a set. Crap - absolute crap! Now skipping spots on the windshield. Tried swapping left to right, etc - still skipping. Crap. I surrendered and ordered DI arms; at least now they can suck with $8 blades. I won't even discuss the lameness factor of the rear wiper/blade.
Hell, even my 25 year old Russian car has nice uniform swipes using cheap blades!
