Default Discovery Plip Mini Cooper

Has anyone tried programming a mini cooper plip? Seems like the discovery used remotes prices have gotten horrible. Mini cooper remotes go on sale for about 1/3 .

Do not know if Minis are under $20; but just in case the ripoff is not on the remote but on the programming :

I have programmed LR plips before. That's not the issue. I only deal with OEM parts and just wanted to know if getting used Mini cooper plips will work on discovery.

I have 2 Mini Cooper keys with remotes and I wanna see if I can program them with the nanocom. If so then the flip style should also work. Just haven't had time to mess with it.

Be aware there are 2 different FOB circuit boards. 1 is the 315mhz NAS market and 2nd is the 433mhz units are for overseas.
