Default DIY bleeding ACE system

After replacing my leaking front ACE actuator, the workshop manual tells me that I have to get it bled by the Testbook system (which will be dealer only). Is there any way to DIY it or will I have to spend more money?

Thanks

I have the Nanocom Evolution programming unit which is great for DIY projects for the Disco. It has similar function to the dealer's Testbook unit. It is worth the investment in my opinion:

Home Page

Excerpt from the Product page:

SLABS (combined Self Leveling and ABS system)
As well as the expected reading and clearing of faults, settings pages, Inputs and Outputs, you can also calibrate the Suspension and store the new heights. Note that the ECU will not allow individual corner calibration, only the Left and Right sides. There is also a bleed function for the hydraulic systems.

Lucas ACE (Active Cornering Enhancement)
This ECU was designed to help improve cornering issues found in the Discovery 1. The Nanocom Evolution has the ability to read and clear Faults, View settings, View Live data, check outputs and also bleed the ACE system.

Dusty1 that is EXACTLY what I need - you're a star. I don't have the testbook/Nanocom or whatever but I may be able to get the air out of the system by getting the ram to extend/contract by moving the bar.

np. I don't have that fancy stuff either. I flush my ace with a turkey baster, starting, and rocking the truck side to side.
do wish I could program key fobs, though. I tried that same technique, but it didn't take
