DIY Brake Pads/Rotors 2004 Discovery II
Could someone point me to a DIY article for changing the brake pads and rotors on a 2004 (or same generation) Land Rover Discovery II?
I am familiar with changing pads/rotors, but want to know bolt/screw sizes and other gotchya's before I get my hands dirty.
Thanks guys!

What brand of pads and rotors are you going to install?
Don't forget to do a full brake flush, about 3 pints of DOT 4.
How many miles on your truck?

if you've got a standard and a metric set of sockets and wrenches along with a nice sized c-clamp you should be fine. There were no torx or allen heads on any of my 2001 components.
There are two pistons in the calipers. The easiest way to level these out is with one of the old brake pads and the clamp. Just remember to take the cap off of the brake reservoir and siphon off the fluid after you push the pistons back into the bore.
Also, I'd stay away from using LAPS (local auto parts stores) components. I paid probably $150ish for pads all the way around and I didn't do the rotors. They are squeeking and it's been about a month.
