Do we care how close the thermostat hose is to the drive belt?

Default Do we care how close the thermostat hose is to the drive belt?
I’ve always wondered whether this tolerance is just way too close for comfort. Are your guys’ this close to each other?

If you think that is close, look at your coolant hose dangling over the alternator pulley.
