Default dodgy hand brake

hi im new to this and have a prob with the transmition brake on my disco can aneybody tell me if it can be solved without taking the box out and how to do it please

Hard to tell without knowing what your problem is. Can you be more specific?

Default dodgy handbreak

have changed shoes due to oil on them still getting covered in oil leacking from the drive flang can it be done without takeing the gearbox out?

you need to find out where it is leaking. it could be the O ring or you might need to replace the entire hub assembly.
