I just bought an 03 disco II, and I would like to get a nanocom to program keys and just to have after that. Does anywhere sell used ones? I can't find any on ebay, not sure where else to look.

just searched for them, over the holidays. found a small handful of uk and au ebay listings, but found nothing in the states, for a used unit.

 

They are as rare as rocking horse poo. You sometimes get the odd ones for sale on Eblag UK or in Australia but very rare and still relatively expensive. If you can get a few people to commit to buying them new you can negotiate a modest discount - circa 10% I recall.

 

Last week they were selling Nanocom evolution 20% off untill 12/31. http://www.nanocom-diagnostics.com/index.php. Now I dont see it.

The DII version is $384.22 shipped to the US.

 

I looked at the Nancom site and read the documentation there, but cannot see if the "Nanocom Evolution for Discovery II Motronic Petrol V8 Kit" allows for coding new keyless entry keys. Does it?

 

I have the Nanocom Evolution and yes, you can add keyless remotes and the SLS remote. Hope that helps.
