This is a non-CDL version. The decal show instructions for the hi-low shift.

The attached is the decal for CDL.

Technically yes, but can you use it? No. The same diff as the D1(locking) is fitted, however, because of the fancy add on of traction control, LR thought you would not need it anymore. Therefore they dont give you a way to turn it on. Sure you can climb under the truck and flip the switch on top of the diff, but if you need to do that, I doubt you can get under the truck in the first place haha.

Hi, most everyone says u can add link cables to make the locker work, but I don't know how much labor is involved, and if u R handy to do it yourself. It would be nice to have it work!

Don't hold me to this, but I think most up until sometime in 2001 were equipped with locking center diff. You just need to hook it up.

Of course, you'll need to find a CDL shifter and cable assembly to harness the power.

Cheers,

99-01.5 have the nipple, 04 has the linkage. You can get an 04 style, d1 style, ashcroft unit, or GBR unit. Or you can get ghetto and make your own.

Just check before you buy to make sure you have the nipple for the CDL. I assumed . Come to find out it did have it, but was swapped out under warranty with a non-CDL version for a PO.
