2002 Land Rover Discovery parts

What do you guys think is a fair price for this D2?
I'm mainly interested in the engine and drive train.

I was thinking like 500 if the motor is good. Does that sound reasonable to you guys.

I've briefly spoke with him about it, he claims motor is good. 80,000 on truck. I would want the motor for a project build if its in good shape. I plan on putting tophats in, as well as some other stuff.

 

I'd be suspicious. His own listing doesn't mention the motor at all. Which you would think would be something to mention, if it was fine. He might be tempted to say it's fine if someone calls asking about it.

Just me maybe.
