Default Door Clicking

These trucks like to click...

Anyone have a clue how to correct the "clicking door" syndrome? Every time I open the drivers/passenger doors they click. It's annoying as hell. It appears its the door stop body that sits inside the door that's clicking. Anyone remedy this? How?

I already replaced the driver's side unit with a used one, possibly that was defective too?

Same here, only two of four doors do it on mine. Seems to be either the hinge or the door checker.

here too. but I'm fixing mine today
I'm replacing the Checker Assy BDH700030 on my front door. I've been told that the problem usually comes from when people hang on the door, putting too much stress on the hinges.

Come back and let us know how it works out. Where did you purchase the assembly from? Rovers North?

Have any of you try using heavy grease on the door checks to prevent the problem?

It's done. Success removed the door trim and changed the part. First couple of times it clicked more than ever. So I grabbed the bottom of the door, lifted it up and forwards and thightened the nuts even more. -still some clicking, but significantly reduced. Then I thightened the nuts on the upper and lower hinges and that did it.
So my advise is to first try to lift the door and tighten all the nuts on all 3 hinges. If that does'nt work, replace the middle one. I'll describe the process in detail, and with photos, on the norwegian LR-forum in a couple of days. That way you'll be able to copy/paste/google translate.
The part was bought at Paddocspares. Hope this was helpful.
Ps. I'm insulating/soundproofing my door at the same time- It's not everyday I dissasemble my doors, so I'm grabbing the opportunity.

Sorry mates, recently acquired experiences has shown me that the checker assy/ middle hinge is not the sinner. The problem is the pin- "Pin door check arm BDM100050".
my door startet clicking again shortly after replacing the middle hinge, and I noticed that the pin had been wandering/ moving up and down. While awaiting a new pin I've forced a screw into the middle of the pin, causing it to expand and remove the clicking noise.
