door handles sticking on disco 2

I replaced the rear lock actuator and now the outside handle sticks a bit when opening and I have to use extra force to open the door. Any ideas on how to adjust once I take the panel off??

You might try bending the control rod a little. Once you have the door open, you can work the handle and see where it is hanging up.
