Drain Plug next to the Oil Filter? Leaking?! What's it called?
Subject is a 2003 D2. Recently it started "spotting" on the driveway. Fluid is oil. Traced it to near the oil filter. Found what I assume is an oil drain hole with what I further assume is an incorrect sized drain plug in that it does not seat properly (but threads on just fine). See the images below. What the heck is it called? The plug was very loose. I removed it with my fingers. Covered the threads with tape and tightened it down. As I mentioned, it does not completely seat in the threaded hole. It's brass. Looks new. I've had the D2 about 18 months and I've never worked in this area (aside from oil changes).
My goal is to figure out what ths plug is called and get a new one that will hopefully fit better. I have not tested the D2 yet to see if that was the cause of the leaking oil. Hoping.
22mm head on this plug.
Arrow points to its location. Near the oil filter. When I took it off, an ounce or so of oil come out.
22mm brass plug, removed, prior to taping.

Where does the other line end go?
Does anyone sell a kit?
I have a Glowshift oil pressure gage, harness, and adapter, to attach in that location.
So I guess an oil cooler is out.

Thank you! That's exactly what it is. Thinking mine has lost the brass washer somewhere over the last 15 years.
Only issue is that a 20 minute search online has not identified a replacement part. I tried "oil line cooler plug" and "blanking plug" for a 2003 D2, but no luck. Any ideas what else it might be called? I cannot find a diagram that gives it a name.

I was wanting to know where an oil cooler attached at the engine, and if it was possible to have one with a gage, without using multiple adapters.
