Drive shaft problems
Vehicle is 2001 Land Rover II SE
Vehicle front 4x4 drive shaft broke at yoke at Transfer case. Problem is Vehicle will not move with rear drive shaft only and do not understand why? Also I can not get transfer lever out of High and do not know why? This project someone has left with me to figure out. I am new to the forum and have a little mechanical ability so be gentle with me when I ask dumb questions.

someone will chime in on this but I think your year has the centre diff lock. Just grab a 10mm wrench and feel around on top of the tcase for the nipple. If you've got the diff lock in that year, just turn the 10 mm wrench and you will have enguaged it. this should get you driving. you'll know it's enguaged when you se the amazing little light on the leftside of your dash display.
I belive 99-01 have the diff lock then 02-03 do not, but someone can correct me on that.

In the upper left is the end of the propshaft that broke on yours.
The Center Differential Lock nipple is the round "stud" in the center of the round cover plate that's retained by the 3 bolts.
You want to turn it anti-clockwise (as viewed from above). In only needs to turn about 1/4 turn or so.
