Driver Turn Signals On Solid
I have a 2001 Disco2 with about 110k. The other day I noticed that the 3 driver turn indicators were on solid. Later they went off but must have come on again during the night and drained the battery. My first thought was a shorted Atlantic British trailer wiring module. I disconnected it and all seemed fine again. About 4 hours later, the driver turns came on solid again.
So now, I need to keep a 13mm wrench handy and disconnect the battery when I shut it off to make sure it does not drain. Of course, I cannot lock it now. Then the other day I went to turn the key and dead as a doornail, which was odd since the battery was disconnected. I hooked up a jump pack and it started.
I searched the forum and saw many posts ...
1. The Atlantic British trailer wiring module causes electrical problems?
2. A weak battery causes odd behavior with the alarm?
3. Alarm ECU could be fried?
Here is the kicker ... I am trying to sell this truck! It is not worth a crap if it has electrical gremlins, so I would like to fix it without spending a fortune. Has anyone else had this exact problem and how did you fix it?

Electrical problems can be the worst of issues. Only time and time and trouble shooting will lead you to the problem. Guess you better get busy looking at wiring. Another way to temporarily fix would be pulling s fuse or 2 instead of disconnecting the battery.
